What is fabric glass?

Fabric glass is a decorative interior glass in which a fabric — a woven textile, a mesh, a natural fibre — is laminated between two panes of glass. The textile becomes the pattern, sealed inside the glass where it cannot fray, mark or be touched. That is the general description of how this kind of glass works across the industry, not a statement of any one build-up.

We do not publish an interlayer type, a thickness range or a maximum panel size for fabric glass on this page, for the plain reason that none has been stated to us in writing yet. A specification we cannot source is a specification we will not print. Tell us what the drawing calls for and we will confirm it against the job.

How many fabrics can I choose from?

ARG holds 1,000+ fabrics in stock, and fabric glass is made in many different combinations of fabric and glass. [as heard]

ARG has delivered over 100 projects using fabric glass. [as heard]

Both of those numbers were spoken by ARG on 13 August 2026 and are awaiting written confirmation — which is what the marker above means everywhere it appears on this site. Numbers we have not seen in writing carry it until we have.

What a stocked range changes for you is where the conversation starts. With stock held, the first step is a shortlist drawn from what is already there, rather than a sourcing exercise that has to run before anything can be seen.

Textured glass — what does it come in?

Textured glass is glass carrying a three-dimensional surface pattern worked into the face of the pane rather than printed onto it, so that it scatters light and breaks up what is behind it while still passing light through. That, again, is the general description of the category.

ARG’s textured glass comes in multiple different textures, shapes, sizes and thicknesses. [as heard] That is the whole of what has been stated so far, and it was stated as a range rather than as a list — so the individual textures, the shapes they are cut to, the sizes and the thicknesses available are confirmed per enquiry rather than fixed here.

Textured glass is a product in its own right, and buyers ask for it by that name, which is why it carries its own heading. It sits on the same page as fabric glass because the two are chosen the same way: by the surface you want in the room, not by a number on a datasheet.

Where does this kind of glass get used?

Decorative interior glass of this type is generally specified where a partition, a door, a wardrobe shutter, a headboard, a ceiling panel or a wall panel has to do two things at once — pass light through, and stop a clear line of sight. Fabric glass tends to be chosen where the interior wants warmth and material texture; textured glass where it wants pattern and diffusion.

That is a general statement about how the category is used in interiors. It is not a list of jobs we have done, and this page names no client and no project.

What ARG needs from you to quote

Final panel sizes in millimetres and the number of panels. Which of the two products you want — fabric or textured — and, for fabric, the reference or the look you are matching. Any cut-outs, holes or edge conditions, with their positions. And where the panel sits and how it is fixed, because that governs what the glass has to do once it is in. If none of that is settled yet, send the drawing or the reference image on WhatsApp and we will come back with the build-up.

Common questions

What is fabric glass?

In general industry terms, fabric glass is decorative interior glass whose pattern is a fabric rather than a print. That describes the category, not any build-up ARG has confirmed. What ARG states is that its fabric glass is made in many different combinations, with 1,000+ fabrics in stock, as stated on 13 August 2026 and awaiting written confirmation.

How many fabrics does ARG hold in stock?

More than 1,000. ARG states 1,000+ fabrics in stock and over 100 projects delivered with fabric glass, as stated on 13 August 2026 and awaiting written confirmation.

Does ARG supply textured glass as well?

Yes. ARG states that its textured glass comes in multiple different textures, shapes, sizes and thicknesses. Which texture, size and thickness applies is confirmed per enquiry — this page does not fix a list.
