Interior Glass
Textured glass
Textured glass is glass with a pattern worked into the face of the pane, so it passes light and breaks up the view through it. ARG's textured glass comes in many textures, shapes, sizes and thicknesses; its 2025-26 catalogue photographs eight of them.
Also called Patterned glass, Figured glass.

What is textured glass?
Textured glass is glass carrying a three-dimensional surface pattern worked into the face of the pane rather than printed onto it, so that it scatters light and breaks up what is behind it while still passing light through. That is the general description of the category.
ARG’s textured glass comes in multiple different textures, shapes, sizes and thicknesses. It is a range rather than a list, so the shapes the panes are cut to, the sizes and the thicknesses available are confirmed per enquiry rather than fixed here.
Which textures are on this page?
The eight ARG photographed for its 2025-26 textured glass catalogue, on the same studio set as the fabric library: Brown Fluted, Moonrock, Masterline Flute, Clear Flute, Bubble, Serene Flute, Grey Flute and Ribline. Five of them are flutes. Each tile above opens at full size. The catalogue prints its own caveat under every one, and it stands here too: the photograph is a creative depiction, and the product may vary from it.
Can it be laminated, insulated or tinted?
ARG’s catalogue states that its textured glass is available in multiple thicknesses and can be customised as a DGU or a laminate, or enhanced with fabrics, metal meshes and coloured tints. That is the range of what can be done with it; what the drawing needs is settled against the drawing.
Where does textured glass get used?
Decorative glass of this type is generally specified where a partition, a door, a wardrobe shutter, a cabinet front or a wall panel has to pass light and stop a clear line of sight at the same time. ARG’s catalogue names partitions, doors and decorative applications. Textured glass tends to be chosen where the interior wants pattern and diffusion; fabric glass where it wants warmth and material texture.
That is a general statement about how the category is used. It is not a list of jobs we have done, and this page names no client and no project.
What ARG needs from you to quote
Final panel sizes in millimetres and the number of panels. The texture, by its name above or a reference of the look you are matching. Whether the pane is single, laminated or an insulated unit. Any tint. Any cut-outs, holes or edge conditions, with their positions. And where the panel sits and how it is fixed. If none of that is settled yet, send the drawing or the reference image on WhatsApp and we will come back with the build-up.
Common questions
What is textured glass?
In general industry terms, textured glass carries a three-dimensional pattern worked into the face of the pane rather than printed onto it, so it scatters light and breaks up what is behind it while still passing light through. ARG states that its textured glass comes in multiple textures, shapes, sizes and thicknesses.
Which textures does ARG make?
The eight in ARG's 2025-26 textured glass catalogue are on this page: Brown Fluted, Moonrock, Masterline Flute, Clear Flute, Bubble, Serene Flute, Grey Flute and Ribline. The catalogue describes them as a range rather than a closed list, so ask us if the texture you want is not here.
Can textured glass be made into an insulated unit or laminated?
ARG's catalogue states that its textured glass is available in multiple thicknesses and can be customised as a DGU or a laminate, or enhanced with fabrics, metal meshes and coloured tints. Which of those suits your opening is settled against the drawing.
Is fluted glass a textured glass?
Yes. Fluted glass is textured glass whose pattern is a run of parallel ribs. Five of the eight textures on this page are flutes, and fluted glass has a page of its own.
